At Urgent Pet Care Center, our goal is to quickly identify what’s wrong with your pet so we can start the right treatment, right away. One of the most important diagnostic tools for that is bloodwork. Bloodwork helps us assess overall health, detect underlying conditions, and monitor the effects of medications.
Nearly all pet blood testing is completed in-house. We can get most of our bloodwork results within an hour, and we can also send out your pet’s blood for more in-depth testing when necessary. Having the ability to run these tests in-house means we get answers faster and begin the right treatment for your pet quickly.
Our walk-in veterinary clinic offers same-day pet diagnostics without the long waits and high costs of a 24-hour emergency hospital.

Do I need an appointment at Urgent Pet Care Centers?
No appointment is needed! We’re a walk-in veterinary clinic, and blood testing is available during all business hours. Bring your pet in and we’ll get them taken care of.
How long does bloodwork take to get results back?
Most bloodwork results are ready within 30 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the specific tests needed. Because our pet diagnostics are performed in-house and we’re able to run most of our bloodwork in house, turnaround times are significantly faster than many clinics. Note: Some tests are run off campus, and we will make you aware of that at the time of your appointment.
What types of blood tests do you offer?
We offer a wide range of blood testing services, including complete blood counts (CBC), chemistry panels, organ function testing, and monitoring bloodwork for pets on medications.
Are you open evenings and weekends?
Sure are! We’re an after-hours walk-in vet clinic with extended weeknight and weekend availability. For those who work traditional hours, this makes it much easier for working families to get timely care.
